Psychotherapy Lectures in Bristol

Background: The Marianne Fry Lectures began after her death in 1998. Her friends and students wanted to perpetuate, for the benefit of later generations of Gestalt therapists and trainees, the values and interests of a distinguished and beloved Gestalt trainer. The lectures – of which there have been five so far, focus notably on the relationship between Gestalt and spirituality, Germany and the Holocaust, dialogue, and family therapy.

On this site you can learn about the forthcoming lectures and book a place for the next one. You can also access the text of past lectures.

The committee organising the Marianne Fry Lectures are intentionally broadening the future scope of the lectures, to include another particular interest of Marianne Fry’s that is particularly relevant to today: dialogue across cultures.
